Childhood and Education
My journey began in a small town where I cherished my childhood. The spark of curiosity ignited during my elementary years, shaping my love for learning. Middle school brought new challenges, and I embraced them with open arms, preparing for high school where I discovered my passion for science and literature.
Academic Pursuits
After high school, I embarked on my college journey, immersing myself in subjects that fascinated me. Each year added to my knowledge and experience, leading me to pursue an MSc followed by a PhD. These academic milestones not only enriched my intellect but also prepared me for a fulfilling career.
Work and Family Life
My professional life commenced as a postdoc at IITA in Nigeria, where I tackled various research projects. This role opened doors to opportunities at Georgetown University and SAIC at NCI Frederick, Maryland, enriching my work experience further. Family life has also been an integral part of my journey, with my first marriage lasting from 1999 to 2011, and a new chapter beginning in 2015 with my second marriage. Traveling around different continents for photography has been a passion, capturing memories along the way. Mementos from my past continue to inspire and remind me of the incredible journey I have had.
